As per the long May 1st weekend tradition, we went to the Kite Festival at the Lake yesterday with Clare, Marcello, Chiara, Mary and other friends of theirs. This year we made a picnic out of it and, surprises of all surprises, the sun actually was out the whole time we were there (after, oh, about 8 months straight of rain!). Only problem, also as per tradition, was the major allergy attack that made me have to leave early. But what would the Kite Festival be without an allergy attack, I will never know!?
On another note, I realize I have been remiss in updating this blog and have only been updating my other one. So, after this entry, I'm going to try to keep this 365 blog to simple pictures like it once was, and the other more of my "daily diary." Just so ya know =)
